As Lowkey Gifts continues to grow, we occasionally get asked an important question:
“Are you part of Funky Gifts, Not Socks, or Mighty Ape?”
The short answer is no — and we want to clear that up properly.
Lowkey Gifts is a completely independent, locally owned New Zealand gift store.
We were originally created in Whakatāne and have since moved to Tauranga, where we continue to grow and serve customers across New Zealand.
Clearing up the confusion
Because Lowkey Gifts stocks quirky, fun, and gift-ready products, some customers understandably assume we may be connected to other well-known NZ retailers such as Funky Gifts, Not Socks, or Mighty Ape.
While we respect these businesses and the role they play in New Zealand’s online shopping space, Lowkey Gifts is not owned by, affiliated with, or operated by any other retailer.
